Land Acknowledgement

I live and practice on the traditional lands of the Multnomah, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Chinook, Tualatin Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other tribes who made their homes along the Columbia and Willamette Rivers in what is now called Portland, Oregon.

I acknowledge with respect the Indigenous peoples who have been stewards of this land since time immemorial and continue to live here today. I recognize that this land was taken through colonization, broken treaties, and forced removal - and that these harms continue to impact Indigenous communities.

As a settler on this land, I commit to ongoing education about Indigenous history and sovereignty, and to supporting Indigenous-led healing and justice work. I honor the resilience, wisdom, and continued presence of Native peoples.
